F&A Outboards is proud to offer the following Rarely restored Vintage Sea King Outboard Motor for the low asking price of $300.00.
This listing is for a classic 1970 Sea King 3.5 hp model J350 -1106B, Serial number 343279 in color correct Metallic Dirty Bronze . This motor was manufactured by Clinton Motors in Maquoketa, Iowa for Montgomery Ward in Feb of 1970. The motor was delivered with the Sea King Cowlings and trim and nomenclature.
F&A purchased this motor from a gentleman in Lake Shipp, Florida. We wish we had a complete back story, but do not. Compression good and we repaired the poor attempt at rebuilding it and replace parts that went missing when the previous repair person could not figure out how to put it back together.

The motor has been repainted using Reprotint paints from eFfena Co. This motor was disassembled and the following parts replaced with either NOS OEM or reproduction parts.
Gaskets in lower unit.
Spark plug and plug wir, condensor, and coils and points were cleaned, tested and work as new.
Carburetor was rebuilt w/ new gaskets, seals and washers,. C.
Engine was sanded and primed. The motor was covered with 4 coats of Reprotint Metallic Dirty Bronze. Cowling was also bondo filled, primed, painted and then clear coated before and after decals applied. Prop was painted bright white.
This Vintage outboard is 43 years old and runs strong still. This motor is comes with reproduction owners manual, parts list, warranty card and dealer tags. This would be a great addition to a collection, as a display piece in your nautical theme game room or bar, or in a commercial application as a atmosphere piece for a restaurant, marine supply store or dockside lounge.
This J350 -1106B runs and idles. It is an air cooled powerhead and water cooled exhaust, and pumps water to original specs.
Are there imperfections? Yes of course. This motor was not brought to museum standards, and has plenty of minor bruises, unsanded areas, overspray in engine compartment, etc. We have left these types of blemishes to add a final touch of authenticity to the finished product.
