This Vintage outboard is 57 years old but looks like it was just unpacked from the factory. This motor is museum quality and additionally comes with reproduction owners manual, parts list, warranty card, dealer tags, and tool kit. This would be a great addition to a collection, as a display piece in your nautical theme game room or bar, or in a commercial application as a atmosphere piece for a restaurant, marine supply store or dockside lounge.
This Mark 7 runs as good as it looks. It idles perfect, pumps water to original specs and is a suberb piece of American engineering. It would make an excellent companion to a 10 -12 foot vintage boat or or as a standout attraction on a newer boat. Whichever you prefer, this motor is very, very nice.
Are there imperfections? Yes of course. Just as the motors came from the factory with minor bruises, unsanded areas, overspray in engine compartment, etc. we too have left these types of blemishes to add the final touch of authenticity to the finished product.
